Hanna, Ike and Josephine...oh, MY!

The last time I wrote, we were watching Tropical Storm Fay. Now I'm nervously watching Tropical Storm Hanna. They keep changing the forecast track for the storm. Originally it was going to make a direct hit on Savannah, then it shifted south, now it's shifted north to somewhere between Charleston and Myrtle Beach.

Normally, I wouldn't fret too much, but it's supposed to become Hurricane Hanna before it lands, and I'd rather not be stuck at the house alone with two kids and two cats in the middle of a hurricane. Right now I'm just waiting to see if I flee up I-75 to my in-laws or if I chance it and park my butt here, with the possibility that I'll be eating canned food for the next few days. And then, of course, there are those two other storms hanging out there in the Atlantic.

So, in order to take my mind off of impending tropical weather (Hanna, Ike and Josephine??), I now present gratuitous baby and kid pictures...

I have more I need to get off my camera, but that should do for now. If Willowtree can post pictures of his pets incessantly, I can post pictures of my kids, right? Right??

UPDATE: The new track shows Hanna bound for South Carolina, and then skipping up the coast to Newfoundland and Labrador. I bought those extra D cell batteries for nothing. Ah, well. There's always Ike.

Yep you can. And the kids are adorable. I thought of you when I heard about Hanna. I hope and pray you get through it safely.
All the best.

I've been so worried about you and this post doesn't help much. Are you getting any of the Gustav leftovers now?

Love the pictures. You can never have too many cute kid pictures.

Let us know how it's going, okay?

Please post kid pictures incessantly. They are such cuties, and that white-blonde hair reminds me of my daughter as a little girl. I love seeing them. And that baby -- what a sweet, chubby doll.

I do hope the serious weather misses you. Fingers crossed.

Ahhh, TFYO looks so grown up, and baby J is so like you, she has your eyes.

Hope you're all safe and sound. I've been thinking of you. I can't imagine what it's like. Hug.

Aw, thanks kids.

dumdad The subject matter of the photos is more gorgeous than the actual shots. I did well in photography class in high school, but this camera is not meant for gorgeousness.

mike Thanks for thinking of me. I had some friends in Orlando who got so much rain from TS Fay that they have to have their dining room redone. It totally flooded.

RC You're getting more of Gustav than we have so far. We'll probably get the dregs as it moves east. It's one of the reasons why we're not getting slammed with Hanna, I think. So far, we are all okay.

kaycie Poor Baby J. She has just a tiny bit of fuzz, but more than TFYO had at that age. She might have more if we could finally get rid of the damn eczema.

joBaby J definitely looks more like me. TFYO looked like me when she was a baby, except for the eyes. This is the first year I've really been worried about hurricanes, but then, I'm living on the coast post-Katrina, too.

Incessantly? No more pet pics for you!

Your girls are gorgeous!!! I just want to scoop up Baby J and give her a big squeeze. How is TFYO liking Kindergarten? If you get tired of the rain come on out here, and bring some of it with you, ok?

Hey girl! Got your message on FB - no worries!

I wasn't even concerned about anything because of all the hideous storms coming your way. Just remember, Jen - if you see a funnel cloud coming your way... remember the Oh SFD we came up with in TN!

Baby J is ADORABLE - I'm going to have to steal a few of her pics to show off to the folks at work. Does it make me an evil person to say that TFYO makes me jealous with her thin-ness and blonde hair and gorgeousness? I'll be saying it until the day I die... They're both beautiful - so post as many pics as you want!

Great pics of the girls - they grow quick, don't they?
Watch that pesky weather, Jen - take care.
I've got to say I am so impressed that you fixed your washing machine. You f***ing rock!

ack. I made my blog list on a separate page and you fell off. I'm sorry and I'll right this wrong soon.

Are you on XM or sirius (be sirius now!) I often keep farmers' hours driving to farms at the ass crack of dawn or before so I might be able to catch you
