This is the way we sit in bed...

This is how we spend our days...she gets a little camera shy, I think, but she plays for a few seconds anyway. TFYO does not like being cooped up. She's staying home again today, because she is still hacking up a lung, and she is unhappy. I know she wants to go to school (actually, she wants to go anywhere that doesn't involve me giving her medicine, or her having to sit in bed), but she needs to rest.

I'm trying not to let her watch too much TV, but we've run through most of the pages of her workbooks, and she's already done her homework for the week. I may have to break out the checkers.

Oh, yeah, and Blogger's got this great thingy where I can upload my videos directly, I don't have to post it on YouTube. How handy.

Jen, I'm clapping and cheering. yay TFYO. Wow, that was so good. I think I was still bashing away with both hands at that age. She really is a bit special you know. :O

That was meant to be a flabberghasted looking smiley but it all went wrong.

That was terrific! I've been playing the piano for 45 years and she's still better than I am. How can that happen??

Hey. Tell her that Auntie Jill is jealous. Then again, that might start a discussion about what the word jealous means...

But you can most certainly tell her that the best way to do scales IS in fact to run your hand up and down the keyboard as she did.

Miss ya!

Jo She is a bit special *grin* and I understood your open mouthed smiley...at least, I think I did.

JRH Always good to see you about! She started messing about with piano when she was two. Surprisingly, she just picks up things by ear. The keyboard she was playing is on loan from my sister-in-law and her fiance. It's got a great little teaching tool with a computer display and a song bank. It shows you where to put your fingers and you can play along. She's learned about ten songs this way.

jill I think she knows what jealous means...

RC She's going back to school tomorrow. I've been having to mix her meds with applesauce, but at least she's getting the full dose, and is getting better.

Willowtree You're in California?

laurie TFYO picked out the colours, "Auntie" Jill and I painted the first couple of weeks we were in the house. You can't really see the pink striped satin curtains, but they match the pink stenciled flowers. She does have a certain sense of style.

THe greatest part to paint was, in fact, those flowers. VERY cool and yes, TFYO definitely has her own sense of style. :)
